About Me

I’m an artist and writer with broad experience as a lecturer and manager in arts education. I have enjoyed lecturing, giving talks and leading workshops in fine art and creative writing to all age groups from A-level students to adult returners, progressing them from beginners to degree courses and career change.
My art has been exhibited in London and Europe and I have work in private collections there and in the USA and Canada. Since moving on from full-time work in education I have re-engaged with my own art and writing practice, the latter being focused on fiction and art essays. I now paint in London, New York and Chicago, predominantly using oil paint, my favourite medium. My fiction writing has evolved into a highly condensed form which, along with art reviews and essays, has been published online and in print in art and literary journals and winner's anthologies. My recently published novel 'In No Time' develops a theme explored in the series of paintings 'Delfos', the title of my one-person show in Spain, images of which can be seen below in 'Delfos Series'.
