About Me

I’m an artist and writer with broad experience as a lecturer and manager in arts education. I have enjoyed lecturing, giving talks and leading workshops in fine art and creative writing to all age groups from A-level students to adult returners, progressing them from beginners to degree courses and career change.

I have exhibited work in London and Europe and have work in private collections there and in the USA and Canada. Since moving on from full-time work in education I have re-engaged with my own art and writing practice. I now paint in London, New York and Chicago, specifically using oil paint, my favourite medium. My writing has evolved into Microfiction – a highly condensed, short fiction form which has been published in literary magazines and anthologies. I am currently completing a novella in Microfictions which mirrors a theme explored in a series of paintings from my one-person show in Spain the 90’s.
